Terms of service
These terms cover your use of MIM (Magic Internet Money) at getmim.app. By launching a coin, signing in or cashing out, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use MIM.
What MIM does
MIM lets anyone launch a pump.fun coin for an X (Twitter) account. The coin's creator fees are collected by MIM and held for that account. The person who holds the account can sign in with X and take the money as SOL or as a gift card. MIM isn't a bank, an exchange or a money transmitter account, isn't affiliated with X Corp., pump.fun, Cryptorefills or any brand whose gift cards are offered, and gives no financial, investment or tax advice.
Coins and launching
- Coins are created on pump.fun by the person launching them, from their own wallet and at their own cost. MIM doesn't create, promote, price or endorse any coin.
- Memecoins are highly speculative. You can lose everything you put in. Nothing on MIM is a recommendation to buy anything.
- Don't launch coins that impersonate, harass or defame anyone, infringe rights, or break the law. MIM may stop showing such coins and won't help promote them.
- A coin launched for a handle can't be moved to someone else later. Check the handle before you launch.
Fees MIM collects and holds for you
- MIM collects a coin's creator fees about once a minute. 80% is credited to the X account the coin was launched for; 20% buys $MIM, which is then burned. MIM keeps nothing else from fees.
- Balances are held by MIM in its own wallets and recorded in its ledger until you take them. They don't earn interest and aren't insured or protected by any deposit scheme.
- Fees belong to whoever holds the X account. If a handle changes hands, fees collected while you held it remain yours, and fees after that belong to the new holder once they sign in.
- Dollar amounts on MIM are estimates at the current SOL price. What you hold is SOL.
Taking your money
- To a wallet: you choose the Solana address. MIM pays the network fee. Transactions on Solana can't be reversed; MIM isn't responsible for money sent to a wrong address you entered.
- Gift cards: supplied by Cryptorefills. The price is shown before you buy and includes a margin (currently 3%) for exchange-rate movement and costs. Cards are subject to the brand's own terms and region limits. Once a code is delivered it can't be refunded. If an order fails, your balance is restored.
- MIM may pause payouts while it checks a problem, for example if its wallets don't yet cover everything owed, and resumes once it's resolved.
Your account
- You sign in with X. Keep your X account secure: anyone who controls it can take its balance.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and allowed to use services like this there.
- Don't use MIM for money laundering, fraud, sanctions evasion, or to move proceeds of crime. MIM may block, hold or report activity it reasonably believes breaks the law, and may close access for abuse.
No guarantees
MIM is provided as it is. It depends on Solana, pump.fun, X, Cryptorefills, Jupiter and other services it doesn't control, and any of them can fail, change or stop. To the extent the law allows, MIM isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, for losses caused by those services, or for more than the balance MIM held for you at the time of the claim.
Changes
MIM may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; continuing to use MIM means you accept it.
